When a bride goes by “the mayor” of Muncie, where else can you shoot her engagement session? Spending half our time in downtown Muncie and the other half at Minnetrista, we had a nice mix of urban and picturesque fall color for Brittney and Robbie’s engagement photos.
Brittney and Robbie are such a fun, bubbly couple. From the beginning of their engagement session not only did I get to capture their genuine laughs, but they had me cracking up. I love that they have such a good sense of humor. I know we’re going to have a blast on their wedding day.
When I asked Brittney and Robbie when they knew they found the one, they said they both knew after the first date they had met someone special. Robbie came with a dozen pink roses in hand and the biggest smile. Their date included a tour of none other than Ball State and a lot of great conversation and laughs. Fast forward after many dinners, game nights, family nights and conversations – they both know they’re getting married to their best friend.
Robbie like any groom was nervous to propose. Afraid Brittney would get it out of him he was going to ask, he devised a plan to have friends and family help pull it off. In August 2019, they went to see the motorcycle races with Brittney’s friend and Robbie’s family. Little did Brittney know they were there for support but also as a distraction! Robbie successfully snuck Brittney’s family and some other friends across the track into the infield. During a break in the action, Robbie called Brittney to his corner of the track to pop the question – surrounded by people they love.
Brittney and Robbie’s wedding at Cornerstone Center for the Arts will be a great party – and not just because of Brittney’s experience planning events. One of the things I’m most excited for with Brittney and Robbie’s wedding is not just to photograph them and the big moments. I’m excited to photograph them surrounded by so many who love and support them.
