Rachel and Brian’s engagement session feels like quintessential fall. We shot in Mounds State Park in Anderson, Indiana and oh my gosh did we luck out on fall color. Walking along hills, trails, and even into the riverbed, this was such a beautiful day to shoot.

Always dating long distance, Rachel and Brian are beyond excited to get married and finally live in the same city. Their wedding in June can’t come fast enough. Not only will it be fun to work with them again, but also with their vendor team! Among the list includes their wedding venue, The Lodge at River Valley Farm in Yorktown and one of my favorite florists, Dandelions Flowers and Gifts from Muncie. I can’t wait to see how beautiful their wedding will be!

During our session, it was nice to be able to break things up between two areas at Mounds. It gave us so much variety. First, I loved playing with the light coming through the leaves. But then I think my favorite part was Rachel and Brian’s willingness to play around in the water. – You guys were troopers sticking your feet in the cold water, running around, and splashing (maybe a little more than expected haha.) This was so much fun doing something more carefree.

After sending any gallery, I always check back to see my couple’s responses. This one was all I could hope for.
